After the tragic death of my grandson we were comforted by many notes from friends, known and unknown, who offered their help and support. Their comments revealed remarkable empathy and helped us in our time of grief. I am especially grateful to Barack Obama, a man of remarkable emotional intelligence, who took time away from his busy schedule to write a note of condolence. Mr. Obama is a class act, he has my eternal gratitude.

Oh Goodness! I am sorry to learn of your grandson’s death. I hope you and your family are able to find moments of peace in this tragic time. May your happy memories of your grandson bring you comfort.
Sincerely,
CC Hart
